Jackals just said as far as they know, nothing has changed with the Elite. He suggested microwaving it for 30-60 seconds!

haha... yeah- we did it for 35s- it was really hot.. we tried putting it on when it was that hot, and tried again when it was not so hot... ha...wow
that is a big bummer- maybe our next step should be to clean the stones....not that I think it's their fault (hopefully the stone gods are not reading this), but it may help a tiny bit if the hay/dirt isn't taking some of it... might be a step forward? Just an idea...

5-8pm is supposed to be only students at the UNI weight room, but the football players were in there from 5-630pm- all platforms and mens bars were taken. I waited the hour and a half, and since they were still in there at 630 I left. Great day.

ha yeah... It sucked. Gotta do an lower, upper, and events day on wed, thurs, friday...still deciding how to do the upper and lower days not that I am TWO days behind schedule. It was frustrating, but, it is not the end of the world. I will get the workout in one way or another before friday!

5-27 had to double it up today- I never miss workouts- had to make it up!

Felt ok on deadlifts- could tell I'm just a burnt out on the lift, low back just wasn't having it- back squats were super fast though.

felt even better in the 2nd session- the 407 front squat wasn't easy, but it wasn't all that challenging. My front squat has progressively gotten better as I adjust to my weight- very happy with this- back squats felt much easier last session, the close grip bench felt solid... FINALLY back in my groove on pressing, my gosh haha been frustrated with that for a while- but felt very solid again today.

Great training today. Was very surprised as my legs were very sore coming into today. Once I got my groove back on the 331 it went up pretty easily. farmers felt pretty good- that's been coming together well, tire was decently fast- not good enough though, and stones went pretty well- esp. since the tacky was not the greatest. I have never had burns like I have on my arms like I do now in the last 2 years now. I couldnt put soap on them in the shower it was burning so bad- first time ever because the tacky was just slipping.
Great day though... NOW my progressions are spot on... last week they were not- I made up for it this week though. Right on track

It was fun watching the show you put on last night. You did some freaky things considering the oily "tacky" and the work you had put in just 2 days prior. I've never been around anyone who has the work ethic and determination you do. You refuse to accept less than your best and these traits will take you places in sport and life.

Overall a pretty good day... need to be smart this week and recover. pretty refreshing going higher reps...good start to the week, can tell I am still a bit tired and sore- but will work it out this week!

Also- my weight is up a little bit. I am probably 242- but will cut the 10-12 pounds the day of weigh ins. That'll be fun! haha ouch.. good luck.. There is no heavyweight class to "fall" into.

That is very true... I will absolutely have to make sure I can make the weight- that way there is no extra stress there... I've handled it a bit better- now I believe I am walking around at 237-239 on any given day, and now am able to eat a lot.
6-2 warm up Various Pullups- 6x8 strict Hypers- 5x12 sitting rows- x12, 3x20, x50 lat pulls- 2x12 situpsx50, bicep work 2 way shoulders- 2x10 each
Like I said- this is kind of my recovery week, so I am fresh for the remaining 4 weeks(including event day this saturday). Will pretty much round out the week with some conditioning work- wanted to give my legs/back a break from heavy lifting this week yet still get some assistance work in.

AM warm up about 45m of cals and sprints
Didn't kill it today, but, got a good workout in, and still keeping my goal of a recovery week in mind... This may be the first time in about 1 year where I haven't deadlifted or squatted in a week.
