What's up everybody? This is going to be my training journal on my quest for the lightweight strongman pro card on July 4th in Milwaukee, WI. I am right at 10 weeks out from tomorrow- so my training is going to really dial in. I hope you enjoy this thread and start your own training journal on here as well!

4-24 events at Vince's house Axle Press- 110x2x5,160x4,210x3,250x1,280x1,310x1,320x1 Farmers Walk- 181/handx75ft,231x75ft,271x75ft,331x20ft Medley- tire flip x10flips, keg load x5, for 2 sets overall an ok day. The axle in the introduction video is 400lbs. Right now with all the weight loss I am not there yet again. I will be soon though once I adjust to the weight. I need to bring my conditioning, which you will see lots of plyometrics and explosive movements in the next 10 weeks(exactly 70 days out from competition today). I encourage others to post their logs- it'll hold you accountable, and you can get advice from others! Jake- post yours- I know you like to skip to hang out with that lady friend of yours.

4-26 Session #2 555pm (20m late)
bench press- bar,135x6,185x5,225x4,275x3,315x2,345x11,345x7 close grip bench- 295x7,295x4 haha tired- 2 weeks ago got 335x10 fresh db bench, dips, flies, pushups
wkout got cut short due to tornado alarm going off in cf- then had to work. have hit 365x15 before on bench- so the weight loss has really zapped my strength- but- it is climbing back up. Plus, I have VERY rarely benched in the last 2 years. MAybe once a month in the last 2 years- so can't expect too much. pretty solid workout though

5-1 Events at Vince's 12" Log- 151x2x4, 181x3,211x2,251x2,291x0,291x1,321x1,336x0 Tire Flip(600lbs. maybe?)- 3x10 Stones- 220x2,275x2,306x1,330x1
Overall a solid day. The tacky for the stones was horrible- just complete trash- didnt even try more than a single- basically no tacky- just like grease. But- had a good day log pressing finally- getting it back up there. have hit 356 on that 12" Log before. Ready to keep bumping my weights up progressively

5-3
bench press- 135x8,185x6,225x4,275x4,315x3,355x9 (bar is bent/wayyy too whippy)355x5 some push presses- light- lats are cramping
somehow my lats were cramping and just completely tense. Not sure what is happening- I think it is because of my back honestly. My back is just like one huge knot- so I need to go get a massage- and it'll all be good. lame workout today

Also- my weight is up a little bit. I am probably 242- but will cut the 10-12 pounds the day of weigh ins. That'll be fun! haha
