Just basically to see where I can get my strength levels (back to) in the 3 main lifts. I'm kinda at a crossroads here as far my age and accomplishing some of my unmet goals. It's getting a little depressing not feeling the same I did a just a couple or few years ago, but I am gonna try to work through it and see where I end up. Anyway: 8/13: Push press - 225x1, 205x5. The bent bar I was using rotated in my hands during the first rep with 225 and threw me off. I definitely felt strong enough for three reps otherwise.
Heavy biceps and triceps work

I gotcha...Just keep plugging away man. Don't focus on where you used to be..Focus on where you are now and where you WANT to go. You can;t keep looking back. Look AHEAD. Your eyes are placed on the FRONT of your body for a reason....

First time I did the ab wheel I think I had to pull over on the way home from the gym so I could straighten out my abs cause they were cramping so bad.
8/21: Ab wheel 3x10
8/25: Illinois Strongman Association Push Pull Challenge. I weighed 174 with shoes on.
Overhead press: 205-225-245 18" DL: 550-580-615
We had a blast. It was a good trip all around.
8/27: Back squats - 225x3x5

Big V being all humble. He took 1st place out of 6+ guys! Heck yeah. Weighing only 174 and outlifting all the young pups. Pretty sweet. Way to go

Well you probably had the best meet of your life after being out of competitions for about 2 years. Then you go and crush it. I'd say that'd pretty badass haha. Worth mentioning at the very least.
