Getting behind on the posting...since the 75 kg clean I've had some good days and some bad days. I've been trying to work out 4 days a week, but it's always about 3 weeks in that I start to drag. The gym is SO fricking hot, it just saps the will out of me. Also, I think I'm getting anemic again. I ran out of iron tabs a couple of months ago and just forgot to get more, so I ordered some new ones. I feel like I need a few days off, especially to rest my wrist. I aggravated it more by doing hang snatches at my local gym with their crappy Oly bar. I don't know what I was thinking--I probably just wanted to be somewhere with AC.
Hopefully with a little rest for my wrist, starting up creatine and NO Shotgun, increasing my days at the local gym (with AC), getting back on the iron, etc...things will turn around. I still don't know if I can do Dog Days (scheduling issues)...we'll see.

Life has been crazy lately...not much time for internet. Still lifting, of course. I've scaled back to 3 days/week because I think the fact that I fall apart every time I try to go up to 4 is a sign. Also, still loading up on the creatine, so we'll see if that helps. NO Shotgun definitely gives me extra energy, which is sweet. At some point I'll get back to posting my workouts. For now, I'll just say that snatches are getting a lot better now that I'm remembering to use my arms at the top of the pull to keep the bar in close. Now I just need to work on keeping my back strong and tight. Not sure what to do to work on this other than think about it more when I'm snatching. I don't think I lack the strength, I think I just relax like at the bottom. Also, my jerks are finally coming back. Got over my fear of hitting myself on the chin. I've increased my speed coming up from the dip and sped up my split. Now I just need to remember to get my front foot out further. Why is it so hard to remember things that you've been told since day 1?

I appreciate the updates even though you haven't been able to log your workouts. I enjoy reading about it, because I know everyone struggles with these same issues (balancing lifting with school/work/life).
I have to agree with you. There is almost nothing better than when you find the "groove" snatching.
