I'm liking it. How're you liking the Paleo diet? I definitely don't follow it strictly or anything, but love the idea of it and have been leaning more towards its ideals when eating meals. I think it's a great idea for everybody, and as you explained quite possibly for oly lifters too. I do think that more endurance, high intensity, anaerobic endurance athletes should have added carbs though.
...and fyi, I'm way jealous of the time you have committed to your recovery! I love it, recovery is crucial

Thanks Brendan! It has been awesome so far. I have always eaten really close to "paleo" anyway, lots of meat (fish, chicken, ground beef, steak, eggs), and lots of fruit/nuts/veggies. I mean, what the hell else is there to eat? LOL I try to stay away from processed stuff anyway. I am pry 90% Paleo, I am not like crazy about it yanno?
I did see your reply on the paleo diet. I think it is moreso a marketing sort of trick as well about being caveman, etc. I mean I'm not ultrastrict on it by any means. I jsut don't even know what else I would eat besides those foods anyway ya know? Especially while trying to stay lean .It's not like Ia mt aking it 500g of protein a day haha!
and happy bday? LOL I got another 6 months Connie! I have ZERO idea why it says today is my bday. It is on September 9th lol.

Oh- and I sucked it up last night at the competition. I did a 136kg snatch, and a 166kg clean and jerk.
See everyone at Collegiates, I'll be too busy beating my head against a f'ing wall all week to even remember where I am come saturday night. I can't f*cking wait.

Thanks guys. And Brendan I appreciate it. I know you didn't mean it like that in the text by the way. I was just still throwing a hissy fit The meet went terrible. It's just one of those things...I'm back at it, putting my head down and continuing to train. I really want to hit 150/180 at nationals.
