Started lifting again this morning after long layoff...Everything felt really good, especially my back surprisingly.
10-23-09
Squats - 165x4x5 DB Flat Bench - 55x3x8 Pull ups OH - 3xMAX Dips - 2xMAX Med. Ball Power Drops - 3x20
Man, I had a blast getting back in there too.

Explain the journal title please. I know they have a sweet fighting camp down there- that would be my guess?
Also- nice job working back into it. Most people go ape crap the first time back- I like that you didn't try to be superman the first day.

Greg Jacksons MMA is down there. He's regarded by many as the best strategist in the game. Coach to GSP, Nate Marquardt, Rashad Evans and many others. The "Master Yoda" of MMA. Hoping to be down there by February or March. I was bouncing between going to wrestle or ^ and I realized this is just something I want to do so bad I don't think I could wait two more years.

Ran 2 miles with the dog.
Power Cleans - 125x2x4, 125x3x3 Push Press - 115x1x4, 125x1x4, 115x2x4 Dips - 12,8,6 Horizontal Pull Ups - 12,10 Cobras - 30 sec.,15 sec. Twisting Abs - 15 each side
Cleans went great. Jake was there to critique my form so it went smoother.
Also did an exercise where I put a 25 on one end of the bar and put the other end in a corner and threw punches while holding a 25 lb. DB in a block position with other hand. 12 each arm.

Hopefully 112 but he might be too lazy to cut weight. 119 for nationals Saturday and Sunday.

Missed last workout on time, had to take mom to Mason City. I will pick it back up tonight. Planning on becoming good friends with the Airdyne. Had myself a strongman scramble last night before bed and it was delicious. Whole eggs. I was reading muscle and fitness and it said yolks help with test. or something don't remember exactly but i was planning on posting the article.
