Played some basketball and a bit of lifting.
Bench- 225x4x3
pull ups- BWx10x3
some heavy leg press
-Didn't have very good place to lift so I used the YMCA. headed back to UNI tomorrow and get a better lift in thursday

Good to see ya at least got a workout in though. the WRC weight room is only open 11-2 I believe thurs and fri... lame!

3/18 Lots of snatching today. worked up to 80x1x3, 85x1, 90xmx2, 80x1x3, 85x1, 90x1, 95x1(PR), 80x1x5
I did a lot more than just these, but this pretty much sums it up. I was very inconsistent and kinda sluggish today. I blame St. Patties day hehe

3/19 C & J- worked up to 110x1x3, 117x1, 117x0x2, 110x1x2, 117x0x2 - on all my misses I hit the cleans, but missed the jerks
snatch pulls- 95kgx3x5 FS- worked up to 140x1, 155x1, 165x1, 170x0, 140x2x5 - tied my PR for FS from about a year ago. Getting back into a pretty good groove on it and plan on it going up pretty well now

Good job the last couple days- way to string together a couple good workouts in a row. You're a pretty strong squatter and deadlifter man, keep it up!

Thanks bud. I have the strength, that's for sure, but need a lot of work on my speed and timing. I let the bar crash on my shoulders several times doing cleans, and one bad miss that kinda hurt my wrist and had possibilities of being worse.

It definitely takes the time to learn the lifts to where you can do it without even thinking. I am still not even close to being there, it simply takes tons of repetitions. I am sure you'll adjust very fast.

thanks guys. I'm competing April 17th I believe, its in Marquette, Michigan. I have been looking at different strongman contest in the midwest as well. I am enjoying the olympic lifting, but think I liked competing in strongman more

Snatch DL- worked up to 100x3x5 (pretty light, went more for speed and form) snatch- 85x1x3, 90x1, 95x1, 100x0x7 (really, really close, but couldn't quite get it) P. clean p. jerk- 105x2,x1,x2 snatch pull- 100x3x4 military press- ... 70x3,x2,x3

We had almost the same workout today. With the exception of the numbers. Weird. Are you using the Bulgarian program also?

I am kinda using his program, but he is in china now so I have been kinda doing the lifts he says, but just make up my owns reps/sets. I like the Bulgarian way of pretty much going balls to the wall all the time. Lifting max/near max everyday
