Legs now feel like jelly, Grape Jelly(the only good kind) Tonight will be a huge recovery night, most likely 1 ice and 2 epsom salt baths, I usually do Ice bath first then the epsom salt ones. They make me feel a bunch better that night and able to stretch out a little before I go to sleep. So yeah i have no social life because of lifting... McRozzle Out... You are WRONG about the jelly, FYI. How do you have enough ice for an ice bath? Are the epsom baths warm? It seems like it would be hard to stretch after an ice bath.

for Ice bath, if you can get enough ice for the top of the bath water or half it works out pretty well. Just all cold water will do. Epsom are warm. So it allows you to stretch afterwards when your muscles are more relaxed...

So what is your pick on the Jelly Jared...You better say grape..."MMMM GRAPE" just thinking about it make me happy. Gotta say it is the one artifical flavor that doesn't taste much like the real thing and thats what makes it better than all the rest. "There can be ONLY ONE Highlander"
anywho. Todays Morning workout 3/31 Sn-50x3, 60x3, 75x2, 85x2, 95x2, 100x1 for 5 sets felt good. Snatch Pulls (High)- 90x5, 90x5, 90x3 Reverse Hyper Ext. Work

Afternoon Workout- This was a little different workout than I have done before. I would rack jerk a weight, bring it to the ground, then power clean it up for a set. Power Clean would never go over 120, and jerks would keep rising.
Jerk/Power Clean- 70/70, 80/80, 90/90, 100/100, 110/110, 120/120, 125/120, 130/120, 130/120, 135/120, 140/120, 145/120, 150*miss/no jerk. Light lower back work
Felt like a good day of work today.

Heh so I take it you still don't have working jerk blocks?
Doing jerk&clean instead of clean&jerk sounds fun, though, especially since you can jerk without the fatigue of having just cleaned. Have you jerked 150 before?

OK last mostly recovery week workout, I think next week I get to take it up with full movments...
Back Squat- 50x5, 80x3, 100x3, 120x3, 140x2, 160x1, 170x1, 180x1, 170x1, 170x1, 160x2 Snatch Balance- 50x3, 80x2, 100x2
Felt better after today. Still a little sore here and there but better than I have all week.

So just about back to normal workouts, but stayed away from the big big numbers, to hold back for tomorrow. I am training up in the cities with my comp. coach.
Fri. 3/2 morning Snatch- 50x3, 50x3, 70x2, 90x2, 100x1, 105x1, 110x1, 70x3 Felt a bit slow today. FRont Squat- 50x5, 50x3, 90x3, 110x3
