This is subject to modification a little closer to showtime:
1. Poundstone 2. Pudzianowski 3. Savickas 4. Ortmayer 5. Shaw
Don't see anyone else with much of a chance (some because they are getting over injury).

not sure what to think of the final events... very grip oriented it seems. plane pull, boat pull arm over arm, farmers, dl hold. not a great think for mariusz although he seems to kick butt on any pulling event. shaw has a real chance now to place top 3 and surprise people too. that looks decent vince, just decent.
I think you are leaving out 1 major person who is going to tear it up.............

Savickas Poundstone Pudz Shaw/Ortmayer/Ostlund/Arild Haugen
The only thing I will say is I think Savickas will win it. After that it is anyones race. A lot of great grip guys there and a lot of fast/fit athletes. Should be interesting. The axle pressing is gonna be a big deal breaker for some, like Ostlund and Ortmayer.

Savickas Arild Haugen The axle pressing is gonna be a big deal breaker for some, like Ostlund and Ortmayer. Arild is not coming, is he? I am pretty sure he has been boxing since last years WSM with only a few exhibitions of SM. Unless something crazy happened, are you even on this planet? hahaha and idk.. if its a 280-307 (estimated weight according to all the athletes it seems) axle(same as msg), ortmayer hit like 9 i believe, and poundstone was 10, it was jus tthe transitions. just saying- if its light its pry much better for ortmayer and ostlund

Thats right. I forgot all about that. If it's 300ish that is good for Ortmayer. His press for reps at a mid weight is going real well. Reference the Arnold 09. But, that is bad for Ostlund. He seems good for about 5 at that weight.

Its hard for me to decide so im gonna quote chris and steal his because I agree. Only thing Im gonna add is Shaw will get 4th or swap out and end up on the podium. Hes getting very good.

1. Derek (dangit) 2. Savickas 3. Pudz 4. Shaw 5. Murumets 6. Ortmayer 7. Hollands 8. Would pick Ostlund- but its soo heavy on the biceps/forearms i'm not sure he will be recovered.
