BTW, just cause I wrote "tigey" doesn't mean I agree. One of the best killer instincts for sure though.

Tiger as the best "athlete"? Fuck no! One of the best gamers? Yes. But golf is only SLIGHTLY more physical than poker. Bo Jackson is the greatest athlete to ever grace This earth. In that list are also lebron, lesnar, Barry sanders, pudz, Tyson, mayweather, etc...

Have to agree with Klavetter on this, Bo Knows Bo. Just an athletic phenom. Tiger would be best at his sport no less.

But golf is only SLIGHTLY more physical than poker. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Have you ever golfed? haha come on... sure, swinging looks easy, but to be that good and to be able to control your body that much is just amazing. The different between hitting an 8 iron 170 and 190, knowing exactly how much to spin it by powering into it more or snapping your wrists... it's insane physical control of your own body which makes it amazing... just firing all your muscles at a certain rate, not too light, not all out. it's pretty amazing stuff what tiger does. tiger= the best athlete of all time.

that makes him great at control. Not athletics. You have to have great control to be the best at anything. Athletics is something totally different.

Firing your muscles at an exact percent and a certain way is insane motor skills. Just like basketball.. you're surely not contracting your muscles as hard as you can when shooting a shot or passing a ball, right? I am not saying firing your muscles at sub maximal percentages makes you an athlete. Tiger Woods is an athlete. You ever seen his workout regimen? I know it's pretty insane

Guys like Bo Jackson, Lebron James, Brock Lesnar, GSP, BJ Penn have great control also BUT ALSO have amazing 40 yd dash times, vertical jumps, strength, conditioning, stamina, agility and flexibility. Way more than Tiger.

taken directly from dictionary.com:
"a person trained or gifted in exercises, games, or contests requiring physical skill."
ok ok, i was kidding about him being the best athlete of all time. Is he amazing at golf? yes? would he surprise anyone at his numbers(from what I hear) lifting weights and running? definitely.
I love Brock Lesnar

I'd say golf requires physical skill...

about as much as Nascar. Seriously.

haha absolutely not... way way more than nascar.
Tiger's schedule:
5am: wake up 6-730am: Lift Weights/Running 9-11am: Range 11-1130: Putt 1130-1230: play 9 Holes 1230-1 Lunch 1-3 on the Range 3-4: Short Game 4-5: 9 Holes 5-530: Range 530-6: Putt
Watching golf makes it look easy... but actually golfing is very tough, and, requires much more physical ability than you think.
