The guy is intense but would those methods work on a non exceptional athlete? But Jared, it would work for you

that is a good question. It obviously is not for everyone but it's definitely a different outlook than most americans have.

Just got through the first page, and I am hooked. How amazingly different than most philosophies. He is very interesting and very smart (see his answer re. strongman training!). Good find.

Vince, you should have seen the magic that happened when Jared met Broz <3 Haha. I think J-rad has the mental toughness to hang with his system if he ever gets a chance to train with him.

He does not believe in following set programs necessarily either. He believes that having to try to hit set #'s and peak 2x/ year is hard enough, let alone every day in training- I found that very interesting. WHile he has general guidelines he doesn't have a set program because he says too many factors come in to play daily as far as what # you are capable/able to hit on that given day. Very good reading material if anyone ever gets bored! forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=122395951great new reading material.

I can't believe he takes the time to give everyone all of that information. That is great reading. Some of that stuff totally defies conventional lifting theories.

Tons of interesting stuff.
Not too sure how I feel about his theory of no such thing as overtraining...
Any thoughts?
