Tuesday Workout

Yeah I wish I could post all of my sets/reps. I'll start putting some more weights to the stuff (which is ok to post) But it is hard to understand the flow of the workout without seeing sets and reps I know. And I find it annoying not posting them BTW.
Back is getting a little better, noticed the improvement during the squats. I also am performing my squats with an oly stance. It is a lot easier on the back for me to squat this way, and I have strong quads. I don't feel like oly squatting gives you near the carryover of wide stance, but I know it translates much better to OH work. Friday will be the real test for the back. 11 sets of deads to start the workout with pretty hevy weights (~550 at the top end). So we will see.
As for the push presses. They certainly translate to the log better I think, as compared to just jerks. With my OH on this program my main focus is on the press out strength. So they obviously help with that. I will still jerk any implement I lift OH, but I think the push presses are helping with teaching my body to grind out weights (although the weights have been light enough there hasn't been much "grinding" lately. Also the military presses on the knees have been great, I have seen major progress in that lift in particular.
I am getting very excited to go heavy. The presses against the bands have been really great, and have worked up to 300 at the top of the press with the band tension and it feels very easy. I am feeling a BIG OH pr coming along.
