Thanks Jared! I hit a 320 12" log when my best viper was 234...So I'm hoping I got at least 10 lbs out of it. The trick is going to be hitting 300+ in a contest for reps.....I've got a LONG way to go with my pressing.

yeah I haven't been logging it up till now. With one month to go before Ragbrai I've got to pick it up a little. I'm going to go for 100 miles/wk for the final month, a little more a little less here and there. That should get me pretty ready I believe. If I'm commited to doing the stupid thing, I'm going to finish. Plus it gives me an excuse to keep my calories REALLY high lol.. Which is fun.

ragbrai is the last week of July, I was on vacation, and will post the last 2 wks worth of work here, I'll update it.

there is a weightlifting meet tmrw at 1pm here at USA if you're bored. I will be working from 8am-3pm if ya wanted a change of scenery to lift (not staying after this time).

I'm excited to use it.....Training this week is looking like Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday.....but not totally 100% on any day past Tuesday lol. Only thing I don't like about the new bar is the knurling, I loved it on my old bar, new bar....in question, we shall see.....
