Thanks fellas.
9/11: P Snatch - 115, 135, 150, 160, 170, 180 no misses (PR), 182 x a beautiful snatch grip DL. It's amazing what happens when you are satisfied with what you already lifted.
12 singles with 165 on the power clean.

Thanks J man. My snatches aren't pretty, but they have helped my speed and are good enough for what I want to accomplish. I've upped my max about 20 lbs this year. Course I didn't lose 80 lbs and still put 20 kilos on my snatch!
I've had a couple days rest and can't wait to test the back a little tommorrow on DLs.
BTW- I have always loved weightlifting, but I have such a great respect for the sport after being a little more engaged in training for it. Nothing can teach you more about the psychology of approaching a maximal lift like a heavy snatch (or clean). Really interesting stuff.

9/14:
DLs - 135, 225, 315, 385, 415x1 Push press/jerks - 135x20 Hanging leg raises - x15, x15
:30 WO, but felt pretty good. Can't believe how much of a difference it is to pull for speed and then switch back to pulling for maximal weight. DLs are humbling right now.
Did 20 reps for Jesse Marunde's bday, no warm up, but shouldn't need one with that weight I suppose. Jared and Colin will appreciate the no warm up though haha.

You have always been very interested in the psychology of it... It's kinda cool to just hear you go through different stages mentally on your snatch #'s. Kinda cool. Good thought on the 20 reppers as well, and... way to go on that DL. I know it's no 485 (wasn't that your PR..ish?), but good job nonetheless!
