snatch- up to 95 clean and jerk - up to 130 Front Squat- up to 140X3X3
my dad got to see me c&j 130 so that was a treat. I've never clean and jerked that much at the home gym. Before I went at it he said "don't break you nuts" or something like that haha.

Yes I've been training alone, except for my father watching some heavy clean and jerks last night. I need to get him out there more, just someone watching is better. I called him from the garage and said "the weights gettin' heavy, wanna come out and supervise?" Training alone is not that great, but you can kinda get into it or kinda get out there with it when no one is telling you to back off. I think my barbell is a Mexican made York training barbell with crappy spin and whip, so I can't wait for the Eleiko barbell on the way. What time are you working and training Friday?

Can you make it up to SWSC on Saturday? We'll be lifting there at noon and it would be fun for all if you joined us. I know it's a haul for you, but in case you're in the area (do you actually lift in Red Wing or is your club just based out of there?)

I am training from about 330-630 Simon... No work for me tonight. Also want to get in some ping pong after. Heck, who am I kidding... I want to play before AND after haha

5/1/10 Went to Rochester to train with ROz, Lillian the reptilian, and Natalie of the Johnson clan.
Snatch- up to 100, misses at 105 C&J- up to 135, misses at 137, actually had it at arms length but with press-out Back Squat- up to 190, went down and back up to 180, then miss at 192, back down and back up to 175X2.
AO qualifying total-238 Nationals- 244 My current best- 235

You are right in the hunt to qualify for both of those... You never know what can happen if you keep training hard and just post a solid # in the snatch!

5/3/10 (openers) Snatch- 40X3,50X2,60X2,70,80,85,90,95,100 no misses! Big confidence boost Snatch is back!C&J- 50X1+3,70X1+2,90,100,110,120,130xmiss,130 low back was sore from sat. workout (see above) Back Squat- 70X3,110X3,140X3,160X3 decided to save back and go conservative on squats It's a relief to know this will be the heaviest workout before my comp. on sat. I'm feeling really good about the 100 snatch opener. The next four days I will be saving my jerk for the comp., I'll do last warm-ups on wed. and around 80% on Fri. I'm tapering for the comp., but that mostly means a reduction in the amount of days I will lift this week. I normally lift 6 days a week, but this week I will take tue. and thurs. off for much needed rest/recovery. So long, I'm off to the hot bath tub for recovery. I like to boil in there for 10+ min with only my head out of the water (a bigger tub is needed for this). It's a lot like a suana, I'll continue to sweat another 10 min after I get out. A lot of times I feel really stiff after workouts and this helps to stay loose and relaxed much like a suana or steam room which I do not have access to.
