I just heard Fernando Reis got busted for that banned stimulant that's in the suppliment Jack3d. 6 month suspension. This was at Collegiate Nationals.

Yes! I have been seeing tons of people that have been getting popped after taking the Jack3d. IT really is pretty sad,. People need to be better educated about it. There are a few other pre-workout products that hvae it in it as well. Although- I have told everyone before that you will get popped if you take Jack3d. You MUST research before you take any supplement

I got sick last week and am finally over it. I had a 103 temp at the height of it and strep throat. I had to go on pills and lay up for awhile but now I'm back at it all out. All and all it was about a week off of lifting, this is my first session back, just doing some power snatches and power clean and jerks to get a feel for the weights. I lost a lot of weight due to not eating much while I was sick so I'm down to 75kgs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDdeGxbyTw0

Good to hear you are feeling better. What is your competition schedule like for the rest of the year?

Thanks Jared, I appreciated it. I'm not entirely sure about the complete competition schedule at this point. I am looking forward to the American Open, looks like Alabama for that one. I do wonder sometimes if a person can get too used to the state competition scene and then the national scene seems to be a different animal. Showing up to some state meets to qualify for national competitions or to set state records is always a good thing.

True...I remember you had a VERY busy comp schedule last year, so I was just curious how your approach had changed.

You could say I changed my tune from last year. I think my comp schedule will be more Nationally based this year. American Open, Collegiates, Nationals, maybe the Arnold. That looks good to me.

sportivnypress.com/click on misinformation engineering then scroll over to the article "ten sets of what?". It starts with the Iowa football incident involving ten sets of ten in the squat and then evolves to Bud's usual specificity of training the weightlifter. Once again as usual, after I read it, I couldn't argue with his logic, simplicity, and deductive reasoning.
