If money were the same across the board which sport would you choose to be the greatest of all time and what's your reasoning?

oh gosh. This is such a tough question.
you could say golf/baseball because it's "easier on the body" and you could "play forever." (especially golf)
You could say football because it's taken over the US.. and I spend my only free time of the week(sat/sun) watching it--- all day usually haha.
I could say wrestling because it's what I love to do, and of course strongman- but- you'd only be making the $ for a short period of time before your body fell apart(like everyone's pretty much does eventually.. 10 years seems to be the magical # of years ppl talk about in the sport).
I'm going to go with wrestling. Just because I know how rough of a sport it is and how much physical work has to go into it to be the best. Some of the greatest wrestlers of all time (sanderson, gable) are almost like gods to a lot of people. Sure, MJ, Walter Payton, Wayne Gretzky, Tiger Woods are also to their biggest fans. I guess if money were $ I'd pick this sport. I know I wouldn't be able to do it forever but hell my goal ain't to live to be 70 years old. My goal is to live as hard as I can right now. If that meant 5 years of domination in the sport of wrestling to be the greatest of all-time I'd take it in a heart beat.

Fighting. Being the most dominating fighter of all time would be it for me. Beat th best boxers sbmit the best in MMA. Hold multiple belts and be feared/respected by all

If you had the choice to be the best of all-time at anything- what would it be? So you get to choose whatever you want

But- if you were only limited to 1(cause dana white pry wouldn't let you box anyway hahaha)

I'm an idiot and misread the title. I agree with fighting. MMA is the greatest thing to me so no question. Although wrestling wouldn't be the worst either Even of there was no money in the sport at all this is what I would choose. To be recognized as the greatest? No price on that.

I still can't believe how big MMA has become (not to hi-jack the thread. My gosh. It's unbelievable the following it gets.

and although 99% of the credit goes to the griffin bonnar fight- I think Chuck Liddell was equally important to the sport back when he defended his title what, 7x in a row? Just his style and the way he did it(being able to knock people out in 1 punch, just the excitement) really drove the sport to the top when people were trying to make a judgment about the sport still. Just a general thought I guess- again- off topic.

Even if there was no money involved at all I would still choose MMA just because it's something I truly love and to be recognized as the G.O.A.T? No price on that
