I have a magazine with Fedor explaining all the reasons for him not signing. I will post it after work tonight.

Why would white co promote with anyone? He took bankrupt organization and made it shoot from a net worth of 2 million to billions all on his own back and hard work. That request was just rediculous and for fedor to not see that is stupid. He has the right to tell his managment that he will fight lesnar. I do feel passionatley about this move and it made me very upset when I found out the details. It really isn't too ridiculous since other organizations are willing to do it. Dana is notorious for having ridiculous contract terms and has a communist attitude when it comes to business. Many fighters have refused to "bow" to him. Dan Henderson has not yet renewed a contract and is currently stuck in a dispute. Randy was out of action for a year caught in a contract battle with Dana. Hell, Urijah Faber was saying he wasn't sure if he would go back but did eventually resign with Zuffa last month.

It may look like he is under appreciating his fighters but in the end he holds the most succesful and longest lasting MMA organizations. Many, many have failed, but white has done it right. He shouldn't change his policy until someone proves that you can pay the fighters more and stay in business. Fedors own brother said that turning down the UFC deal was a horrible move.

haha yes- I got that saying from the packers vikings game. I think it's very accurate lol.
I can't believe he turned it down either. I didn't know that about it being the biggest guarantees either. I could see if the greatest talent was in other organizations- but I don't think it is at this point.
He obviously didn't have the fans in mind either- because 99.9% of the world would want to see him get more coverage in the UFC

I see Jared's point, but I think Overeem and Bigfoot would probably beat the UFC heavyweights. Aleks (Fedor's Brother) can say that but he was kicked out of Red Devil a long time ago (back now) for many different reasons so he might say things just to get back at the managment crew. But I remember him saying that too so I know which time you're talking about. It's too many pages for me to type all of it but here is the run down: Zuffa sent Fedor a contract that was 30 pages long. 30 pages. That's a bit much. It stated Fedor was not allowed to compete in Sambo while under contract with Zuffa, which everybody knows this Fedor's other love next to MMA and competes in National and World championships every year. Next was if he were to win all the fights the contract automatically extended to so many more fights. If he were to lose however, they have the power to rip up the contract no questions asked. Basically, not allowing him to retire undefeated. He would not be allowed to do anything without the consent of Zuffa. Basically wanting complete control of his life. They even took the contract to their lawyers and they said is was too absurd to sign. Sometimes I think there should be one organization, like most other major sports. But of course there isn't college MMA for fighters to get built up before the pros so we need shows like Strikeforce and other small organizations to make names for fighters. In Fedor's situation, it's vice versa Fedor is helping build Strikeforce. UFC does not = MMA.

That last couple sentences sounded better in my head. Sorry if they seem to not make sense.

On a lighter note away from the debate, if you guys have Showtime Fight Camp 360: Fedor vs. Rogers debuts tonight. Just like an inside look in to their training and lives like a littler countdown show.

What time? I DO have showtime, thanks man. In the second contract fedor was allowed to compete in any sport outside of MMA to include sambo. "fedor can go compete in sambo every fucking tuesday for all I care" all other athletes are locked into very restrictive contracts that can be destroyed by the promoter if the athlete fails to perform. These contracts also auto extend with performance. NFL contracts are this way. Do you thnk Adrian Peterson is allowed to go compete in strongman during the off season?

MY bottom line to the whole thing is that we have to deal with the fact he's not in the UFC and may never be. Does it suck? Yeah but we'll still see three great fights in Strikforce. Jared's quote earlier, we may never know what went on behind closed doors. But I would bet my life that he's not afraid of any UFC heavyweight.

Troy aikman had written that line down on Twitter sunday morning.
Fedor is scared of no man. That's a fact. M1 is owned by some of the most delrious people.
My stove is done cleaning itself, let's see how good of a job it did

Dang. I don't get that Fedor training thing. This is some interesting discussion with some actual intelligence haha. Very rare.
All I know is that I love watching Fedor fight no matter who it is, from a 6"7 giant to a 120 pound guy I'd watch it. He's unbelievable

Really? I follow a lot of current and former NFL players. I despise the Cowboys so I see your point. But, I like to see what NFL players talk about with each other.
