i didnt even realize that this was your journal Im almost sad to say yes, yes it is. I started the thread under Guest by accident. Well, I tried something awesome today. Ive had a knot in my back for over a week now. Very painful. As you know because I cry about it all the time. Anyways. I rolled on a rolling pin today and something moved and it felt instantly better. I rolled a bit more. hopped up and bent over completely, knees locked, to touch the floor. A 10-12" Improvement from when I tried last sunday at training. crazy how this stuff works sometimes.

whoo.. weak today but got work done. Those planks really fried my core for today. 274lbs, took my belt in a notch. only one left. uh oh Jerks from bottom start work was 255x4x3 Front Squat 255x3x6 Shoulders with bands What do you guys think of this? I loaded up under a bar where my bend ends for power jerk. So there is no initial bend just a drive up. No energy built up from the bend. Felt harder than the traditional way but I dunno if thats from being beaten up today. Heres what I mean. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTtYrmO3sCY&feature=channel_page

that is awesome about that knot in your back... you owned it. nice work. not so sure about the overhead work.. i know we have different styles, but whenever i miss a jerk its simply because I get "buried" in the hole... from instability on the dip... if you take that out you may find the same problem...idk... just some thoughts I guess... for me I know If I wasn't killing front squats at the same time i'd get owned on the press... you looked solid though... it may allow you to focus simply on exploding---if the dip is not a problem for you... I say go ahead. keep posting vids. nice fronts too

well, i miss overheads about 6" from lockout. So a few things I can do is get more powerful to throw it higher(which is what I was going for in that video), learn to rebend properly/drop lower or get stronger triceps to just press out the near miss. working on all 3 cant hurt.
