haha I am just messing around Simon. I have been feeling ornery all day and decided to throw some cheap shots out at vdeck on various spots on the forum. This was simply kidding around, I love eggs and eat A LOT!

Breakfast just about every day:
1--Egg whites or whole eggs--a bunch 2--Peanut butter, almond butter or ground walnuts (any nuts will do)--couple spoonfuls 3--splenda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt
Cook up eggs and mix in nuts/spices/sweetner when they're hot.
You can do the same thing with canned pumpkin instead of the nuts (or with) and it's basically like pumpkin pie.

I used to throw this one together and it is GOOD:
Eggs (duh) or egg whites Cream or cheese (any dairy in some form depending on macros, however you like it) Eggplant chopped fine Baby portabellas chopped fine
This is WICKED creamy and good. Roasted garlic would definitely be good too but garlic makes me stink so I can't eat it. :-) Haha.

Depends on who you ask I suppose. I have read that the yoke contains a lot of powerful nutrients and helps balance out the amino acid profile of the whites. Also makes the protein of the whites more bioavailable. As far as cholesterol, supposedly your body produces less on its own if you eat high cholesterol foods. I'm not a doctor though

yeah, I have heard many different, opposing things. It basically sounds like I probably shouldn't worry about egg cholesterol.. just eat as much of them as I can! good, cheap, highly available protein

Dietary cholesterol has been shown in numerous studies to have very little to no effect on blood cholesterol levels, especially if you have no history of heart/cardiovascular problems. Not to mention the effects the yolks have on testosterone levels. Also, as Vince says, the yolk contains half of the protein content of the egg and virtually ALL of the vitamins/minerals. If anything, throw out the WHITE!!! HaHa, obviously nobody is going to do that because it is PURE protein but many elite level athletes have been quoted as eating as many as 12 whole eggs PER DAY! Again, as Vince says, the more cholesterol you take in through your diet the less your body produces, as is the case with basically any substance your body produces, thus the popular terms "cyling on and off" in the supplement world. Anywho, I am also not a doctor, just a bored fellow regurgitating information I have accumulated in the past. Sidenote...there are some studies coming out that say wheat and other grains are much worse on our lipid profile than dietary fats or cholesterol...they have also been shown to negatively affect our androgen receptor effectiveness...ouch

Most doctors probably wouldn't spell an egg yolk like they would a super yoke. I no like you.

the best part about that vince is I had it typed out to call you out on it, but, decided I would take the high road and not do it for the sake of being a bigger and better man and having the longest run on sentence in the history of these forums.
