I am looking for new additions to my gym in the Cedar Valley area. I am 10 minutes from Waterloo and have everything you need. What we don't have is the number of people I'd like to create a real team atmosphere.
I want to make Midwest Viking Barbell into a solid powerlifting/strongman "team". If you, or anyone you know is interested, please have them contact me at-
midwestvikingbarbell@gmail.com

This could be a great place to check out for the Ungers... I know they are always looking for people to train with. I will also talk to some other people in the cedar valley area that may be interested.

I've been training there for almost two years now and my gains have be amazing! I've put on weight and lost body fat. I have recorded new lifetime PR's in ALL my lifts, and have never been bored from the programs I have done. Colin is always reading the latest on all lifting topics/programs and he is well rounded in the department of strength athletics. I know he has taken classes in kinesiology, exercise physiology and health science. He is, by all means, a strength guru. The environment he created at MVB is both competitive and helpful. Everyone their is pretty easygoing and lift very intensely. The building is usually filled with loud music and the lifters are very helpful as they focus on each others lifting form and intense motivation. I love lifting there.
