Won my first Heavyweight contest with a mediocre showing on some very light weights..... 6 or 7 competiters..... Dont laugh too hard at the weights it was at the YMCA.... Log Press (max reps) 1 min 165 lbs-24 Prowler push up hill in the grass and dirt 50 yds 185lbs-18 seconds Farmers 150 ft one turn 175 lbs/hand- 14 sec Carry and drag medley, 100lbs sandbag 25yds, 100 lbs sled drag arm over arm 25 yds- 14 sec. 500 lb tire 75 ft uphill-35 seconds
Not to proud of it but a win is a win, came into expecting it to win Won 45 bucks to MC sports and a signed Kaz poster....

whoa... that is AWESOME man. Don't downplay it. You won a show with 6-7 guys in it. The weights/events aren't nearly as importan t as getting your first win. I bet it was a HECK of a workout anyway.. my gosh. Think of it as: hey, I got a HECK of a workout, still WON, and got some $ for doing it.
Good job man, it's a step in right direction...

Great job man. You didn't set the weights, you just went out and won with the events/weights you were given. You did what you needed to do.

I'd say go about 3 weeks of DB work... that will pry be enough to really give ya a break from the BB and shock ya with the DB's...
