There is a meet at Twin City Barbell (East Saint Paul) one month from Saturday (Sept. 10) open to all USAW members. The entry is on the MN LWC site. This would be a good one for you and any other lifters not affiliated with MN LWC. I know some lifters from Canada are coming down for it (about half a dozen).

Yeah I am planning on doing that meet along with the Twin City Open. Julie will lift at the meet at TCB as well.

Yeah I have been putting more emphasis on squatting. I just did a small meet at Twin City Barbell and hit 96/130. I just trained through that meet since the Twin City Open is coming up. At the TCO I am aiming for around 100/ 140 (240 total). I want to hit 182 on back squat by the end of the year.

I'll be competing with you at the Twin City Open I am pumped to catch up with you brother. Does a decent sized group usually go to that? October 6th right?

The Twin City Open is a pretty good meet. There usually are around 10 lifters in most of the weight classes. Some people from Northern Michigan usually come down. And a team from Canada comes, too. Yes October 6th. It should be a fun meet!

Thanks Jared. Shit happens. My training wasn't going as well as it did for my fast few meets but I still posted openers that set me up to hit PRs. Probably not the smartest thing to do but whatever. Excited to change up my training program and start getting after it again.
