It was great having more for the events. We are going to convince Brendan and Jake to keep showing up, they'll be great additions to the strongman events. And soon Nielson will be jumping in on them too.

IS that Josh guy doing it again? What is his background? I Am honestly just curious as I know programming is a huge passion of yours. Upload more vids!! I like watching vids.

Last two training days- www.midwestvikingbarbell.comCrazy week! All day photo shoot Wed, then a meeting in Chi-town today, two extra long ones back to back.....Here's to sleeping for 12 hours then hitting ME Lower Friday night! Mr. Enderton- I must concur on the sumos, I haven't done them in 5 years or so, and that wasn't over 405. Should really force my hips to do some working! My programming is being done by me now. I was working with Josh Bryant (joshstrength.com) He was a pro strongman, world record holding powerlifter, and previous strength coach for UCLA Track and Field. He is great, but I wanted to go a different way. After consulting with....Dan Harrison, Dave Tate, Louie Simmons, Ryan Bracewell, and Philip J. Martin, amongst others, I decided I wanted to go with a conjugate periodization schedule. Specifically with a Westside flare to it ( I won't say westside, because, well....I don't train there, and I'm not a powerlifter). Its been a good 6 wks so far. After much introspection, I decided I need to accomplish a couple of things to be a successful HW strongman (these are for ME, not a generalization) 1. Stay athletic (this is tough with getting statically stronger, but my biggest advantage) 2. Stay close to 300 lbs. (this is tough with goal one, and isn't yet being addressed, post Arnold Classic I am addressing this...one things at a time) 3. Squat 800 lbs 4. OH 360 at will, as in, any day of the week. I believe my new programming is going to lead me to being able to accomplish these goals. 1,2, and 4 make obvious sense probably to anyone who knows anything, number three may be befuddling. Well, with my build, my lifting style, if I can squat 800 lbs, it means great things for my DL, great things for my OH, and greater things for my stability with moving events (core strength). This would mean about 150 lbs improvement. This will be done quicker then one would think as it has now been prioritized.

I believe that is his legal name. I had to contact David Collins from Xavier to confirm, and he was able to produce a birth certificate and pictures. See attached photo's of Jake from birth; declubz.com/blog/2009/02/10/weird-albino-snake/
