He makes progress so steadily. Freak. Have any 85's put 230 (506) overhead? I'm assuming no

218 is the cj WR... so in competition obviously no- but as far as training/out of rack, etc I would assume there has been a few that have hit a 230 jerk

Dang. I saw his snatch numbers today and they are WAY behind his C+J numbers. 156 lifetime PR in competition. He will be at the Arnold though. You better believe I will be watching!

He makes progress so steadily. Freak. Have any 85's put 230 (506) overhead? I'm assuming no Farris does not make steady progress. He hit big numbers at the Olympics and then the numbers drop at the pan-ams,etc. Even his recent total at the Arnold is down from his Olympic total. He has to step it up if he wants to be competitive in London. He can't afford to increase his total by 5kg every two years. He needs to lift more at every comp from now until the Olympics. I predict Farris will plateau at 165/205, I hope he gets that far. Also It's also gonna take 380 to medal in London. There is the Chinese, the Belorussian, more Belorussians to back up, an Armenian, sure to be some Russian. All doing 370-380. People don't just come out of nowhere and win the worlds or the Olympics. They get 5th, then 3rd, then 2nd, someday 1st if they're fortunate. This sport is so competitive at that level. It's a whole new ball game.

Farris is such a gamer though... It seems like they plan his training so that he just qualifies for the big meets, then comes alive for the olympics. that is what it seems like to me...

k farris is siiiiiiiiick. dude hit a 170 snatch today in training according to my sources from LSU-Shrevport (I am very good friends with 2 kids down there). I am just kidding of course. But, I got a few people excited.
