Very nice lately... Just keep being patient and don't always try to be superman in 1 day! I think that's what throws ya into OT so fast sometimes, just try to maybe cut down on the exercises when ya do come back to lifting regularly.

6/2/10
25mins elliptical 25mins treadmill ---------------------
foam roller warmups
axle clean 95/10 135/5 160/5 belt on 185/1 PR
front squats 95/20 115/15 135/15 PR
widegrip pullups 3 sets/BW
RDL's 3x15/135
hanging leg raises BW/100 volume PR
*this was my first time doing the front squats (feel free to laugh at my weak PR guys ;D).they are going to take some time getting used to.my arms aren't very flexible and it's a little difficult keeping my elbows up parallel for an entire set,but i'll eventually get them down.on the plus side, they didn't hurt my knees/lower back/neck like back squats do,so i might actually get to keep doing squats now, which is good.

I think that's what throws ya into OT so fast sometimes, just try to maybe cut down on the exercises when ya do come back to lifting regularly. you are right on point here Jared.i know why it happens.it's hard to hold back sometimes, man.i'm an intense, aggressive person, and even more so when i'm training.but that gets me in trouble more often than not.but i am working on it ;D i really like what i am doing now though.the cardio is helping tremendously.i really am enjoying these new exercises.and my recovery time has been cut in half.i have energy all the time now.i actually feel REALLY good man, better than i have for awhile now.and i don't miss the bench pressing at all.

Wow, huge day for you! I am impressed. How did the axle feel grip wise? thanks Jared.ever since i started doing the cardio i've been setting PR's for my core work left and right. the axle felt great man.i love that thing.my grip has gotten stronger from it already and i've only been using it for a month.i did shrugs with the barbell friday for the first time since i got the axle from you,and 225 felt like baby weight.i could have held on to 225 until the next morning.it feels great for deadlift too.i have a feeling the axle is going to make my barbell deadlift go through the roof.

You are setting every type of axle PR there is haha, nice job. thanks bro!i love that thing.it feels so much better in my hands than the olympic bar.i know my clean weight is pretty sucky, but its getting better every week.i never did them before so i have nothing to compare myself to in the past.as long as i improve a little each week, that's fine with me.

*i weighed in at 224.7 after cardio today.that's 12lbs lost in 17 days.i am surprised my body will still do this.that seems pretty drastic.i used to be able to gain or drop weight at the drop of a hat about 5-6 yrs ago,but i was heavy for the last 2yrs and didn't think my body would adjust so quickly.but i feel 10X better now than i did when i weighed 236lbs.its nice having energy all the time now.and i'm still sleeping better too.the ABS are back too.i haven't seen those guys in a while.i also have some new muscle in my entire midsection, front and back, that i didn't have before.especially in the sides under my ribcage, and my entire lower back looks different too.this new muscle must be from all the core work i've been doing for the last 8 months or so.my wife noticed the change.i didn't notice it until she told me about it,and then i looked and saw the difference.that new muscle makes my front and back midsection look completely different than it did before. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
