everyone MIGHT want to consider that Poundstone partially tore his quad 3 weeks ago.... about 4-5 weeks out from WSM...
tha tis a huge thing to consider, and I will adjust mine accordingly.

I have moved him to 6 on my finals list....but I believe he will make the finals....I also am thinking he will likely completly tear the muscle in the finals....

After reading through Travis Ort's last 2 months of training I've taken him out of the finals in my picks. I've got Ilin making the finals instead in that group and taking tenth. Moving all of my other picks up 1 spot.....
He is having trouble keeping his weight up...and his OH has not been good at all. But he i a gamer, I hesitate to make this call, but the training just has been uninspired.

He's a different looking strongman than he used to be (I imagine he is becoming more health conscious), but I think he will do well in the heat and humidity of S Africa this time of year.

I would agree completly. His stone loading is still on par, and his deadlifitng is "ok" (765 reset each repX4). But his pressing is bad. He has missed a 340 log every time he tried it in his log this summer. I guess this spring he tore his pec a little and didn't have an operation. His DB pressing is still very good.
He still has to be expected to make the finals, and I believe he is in the easiest heat. My comments come simply from the amount of logs of the top guys I read regularly....His doesn't look that great. Having said that he just won the pro nationals.....so....

hahaha you were SO behnd the ball on this. When you posted that it was ALREADY confirmed that Z had won WSM, with Shaw in 2nd and Misha in 3rd...
Shaw/Z tied for 1st with tiebreaker going to Z.. SUCKS.
